These are THE NEW ZuluSCSI Pico boards within a handy ultra-ultra-small case with either DB25, HD50, or CEN50 jack. They use a Micro SD card, and most samplers do not require power. (If they do, simply use a USB-C cable (often supplied) plugged into a wall-charger.)
The wonderful aspect of the ZuluSCSI Pico's are the ability to access up to SEVEN SCSI ID's; so it's really 7 drives in 1!
Further, what makes ZuluSCSI Pico even more special is that they use Image Files on a standard FAT32-formatted SD card for the drives they access. This is a significant improvement for proprietary disk formats (Akai, Roland, Ensoniq, Emu, MPC, etc.) and solves the inconvenient issues with SCSI2SD proprietary SD cards. It is far easier and faster to use with a computer.
We're not finished! For ultimate convenience, the ZuluSCSI Pico plugs right into your SCSI host without the need for a cable. There's nothing handier than that!
Compatibility
ZuluSCSI Pico works with EVERY SINGLE SAMPLER we know of (which is all of them). All Ensoniq, Akai, Akai MPC, Roland, Emu, Ensoniq, Kurzweil, Korg, Peavey, Synclavier, Fairlight, Waveframe samplers. We don't provide a list because we haven't found a sampler it DOESN'T work on. For samplers/hosts that have the typical DB25 SCSI port, we provide a ZuluSCSI Pico Slim. For samplers/hosts that have the smaller HD50 SCSI port, we provide a ZuluSCSI Pico HD50. And for samplers/hosts that have the older and larger CEN50 SCSI port, we provide a ZuluSCSI Pico CEN50.
